Responsibility in bioscience is a cornerstone of transforming the relationship between science and society

Directly or indirectly, biosciences play a decisive role in many of the challenges facing contemporary societies, and many productive sectors depend largely on bioscience research and the weight of the bio-economy. It is therefore imperative for those working within the field of biosciences to fully engage with society and embrace this responsibility throughout the research and innovation process.

The International Network for Responsible Biosciences will provide a space for the bioscience community to share knowledge and grow together, using the Responsible Research and Innovation and Open Science framework, and will encourage multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary approaches to solving the modern problems facing research and society.
